The magic marshmallow machine. It was a rainy Tuesday and Freddy was feeling a bit bored. The kind of bored where you've already built a tower with every single block and even the markers are yawning. Alice was sprawled on the carpet, twiddling her toes, and watching the raindrops wiggle down the window like tiny snails. I wish something magical would happen. All aside, Freddy had an idea Bleo Activate, Freddy called out holding up his toy robot. With a boy and a little wiggle of his antenna. BLE Bow's. Eyes blink to life system online. Hello Freddy. Hello Alice. Eye detect, low fun levels. Yap said Freddy. Super low, dangerously close to snooze. V recommendation, creativity mode, activated. Bleo Chirped. Then he popped open his tummy door and outs, slid a tiny folded map. It sparkled in a magic kind of way. Alice's eyes lit up. Ooh, a map. Where does it go? Unknown. But my sensors detect extreme fluffiness and possible stickiness. Freddy grinned sounds like marshmallows to me. They follow the sparkling map behind the sofa, under the table, and through the gap between the curtains there. Hidden in the corner of the playroom was something they'd never noticed before. A silver lever with a sign that said, pull for puffy perfection. Alice looked at Freddy. Freddy looked at Alice Bleo blinked twice. Then they all shouted. Pull the lever. Chucka, chucka, chocho the floor, shook the wall, flipped around And standing. There was a gleaming machine with whirly bits, twisty tubes, and lots of buttons. The magic marshmallow machine read a sign above it. Do not lick the buttons. Suddenly with a crash, moon fly fairy firm bunked into the wall beside them. I was doing my gardening when I smelled marshmallows, so I had to come. Bleo scanned the machine. Machine status delightful, requires marshmallow password. Ooh, squeak, Dallas. Maybe the password is squish. Snuggle fluff. The machine giggled. Yes, it giggled. Then it lit up and began worrying a tube whooshed down and squirted out a marshmallow crown. Another spat out marshmallow boots. Marshmallow trumpets played a tune. The smell of vanilla and sugar filled the whole room. Freddy gasped. It's making a marshmallow world. The machine shuddered, and suddenly out came a slide. All of the friends jumped on the slide and whooshed down together into a marshmallow. Meadow were sheep, bleeded and bounced and marshmallow birds flapped, lazily through the sky. Moon Fly tried to fly and landed faced first in a marshmallow cloud. Fluff tastic. Bleo floated gently using a tiny umbrella, sweetness levels maximum. They explored the fields of fluff where every step made a little squeak sound, and a soft marshmallow breeze whispered. Secrets like Tickle your toes. In the center of the meadow stood a marshmallow castle, soft and squishy. With jellybean windows and licorice ladders. Alice led the way up the bouncy steps. Let's go find the queen. She giggled inside. A marshmallow throne sat empty, A scroll. Lay on the seat. Whoever sits here shall rule the land for one hour. And get the golden glop. What's the golden glop? Freddy asked, moonlight, shrugged, freddy jumped onto the throne. Trumpets played, do, do, do suddenly, a tray popped out of the throne with a big golden blob on top. Mm said Freddy poking it with a spoon. It jiggled, then it burst. Golden gl splashed everywhere on their noses, their shoes, even on bleo shiny tummy. It tastes like birthday cake. Shouted bleo licking his screen. Then suddenly the castle began to quiver Uhoh said, Alice, I think we broke it. The marshmallow walls drooped the ceiling started melting like ice cream in the sun. Back to the slide, yelled Freddy. They dashed and bounced and slid down the twisty marshmallow tube popping at the other side of the machine. Now slightly sticky and smelling like dessert, but instead of their playroom, they found themselves in a new room, made entirely of giant puzzles this looks like a job from my logic circuits, Bleo said, extending his robotic arms. He spun the pieces with his spanner tool while moonlight flew over the puzzle, trying not to knock over any pieces by accident. Alice found a glowing button that made the puzzle talk. It gave silly clues like I rhyme with squish, but I'm not a fish. It's wish Freddy shouted with each answer, the puzzle pieces clicked into place. Finally, the door popped open with a puff of vanilla scented steam Back inside the machine, they were offered one final treat, a marshmallow badge for each of them with their names written in jelly bean letters. They stepped through the final swirly door and landed back in the playroom just where they had started. Bleo beeps softly adventure levels, high energy levels, low moon fly, slumped into the beanbag. My wings are sticky and squishy, but very happy. Freddie grinned. That was way better than building another tower. Alice smiled and gave Bleo high five. I think we'll need a new password for tomorrow. Maybe Giggle glop gum drops just then. Mum called from the kitchen time for hot chocolate. They looked at each other, then burst out laughing. No marshmallows please. the end.
